9/15/2023 0 Comments Vox machinae cheats![]() HOTAS in next time I check = purchased game, simple as that. A sale's a sale, and it doesn't make less money because the person buying isn't as dedicated a fan. While I'm sure many fans' gut instinct is to react to a post like this with "well if you're not serious about this game then go away, we don't need you" I doubt that's helpful to the game you care about. I'm just saying, there is doubtlessly a large audience of people like myself, who are waiting for a VR Mechwarrior game, who would be willing to fill that need with Vox Machinae in the interim, if it were just to add this one small thing to bridge this gap (I mean really, given there's already controller support, how much work IS this to do? It's just a remapping of axis and buttons, isn't it?). Trying out Vox Machinae in particular is obviously not a priority for me. I'm not pretending to be a dedicated follower of Vox Machinae, as I'm sure there are plenty of here. Kind of silly to expect them to rush priority on it for fickle people who have said multiple times they probably won't even get the game. ![]() Its also cool if you're a diehard mech fan and won't play a mech game without a HOTAS. You also have the option of using a keyboard or a gamepad. After about 20-30 minutes, you get used to where everything is. Your left hand will move between the Throttle and Jumpjets which are very close together. Your right hand will pretty much not move at all, just slightly rotating your wrists. It takes zero effort to put it on your wishlist or click "Follow" on steam so saying "I'll forget about your game" is kind of your decision, don't put that on the devs.īut if you're comming into it with the mindset of "Ugh i don't want to wave my hands around like a Wii Remote" then you're kind of imposing that on yourself as the game in no way controls by waving around motion controllers.ĭepending on which control scheme you choose there is actually very little movement in your arms. Well you're either interested in the game or not. I hope this is more useful to you than if you just silently lost my sale and never knew why. And I believe there are many many people thinking the exact same way I am. If it isn't here by then, I'll probably be in the "Meh, just wait for Mechwarrior 5" boat and won't be coming back to look again. It will probably be another couple months before I check in again. I just remembered again today and came here to see if there's joystick support yet, and was disappointed to see the answer is no. The last time I checked in on this game was months ago. If you wait too long (and it has already been way too long, I am sure you have lost many potential sales already), people will just say "Well Mechwarrior 5 will be here, I'll just wait." ![]() There are a LOT of people like myself that just want a substitute for Mechwarrior, and were looking at this game to be that fill-in, but turned away at the lack of a hotas type control style. Hey, I just want to point out that this ought to be a very high priority item that I think just isn't being recognized for how important it is. "Full controller support" on Steam means you can control the game fully with a gamepad-type controller without the need to use keyboard or mouse at all.
